Karachi. It is reported that moon of Ramadan will be sighted on 27 May and Ramadan ul Mubarak will be started from 28 May, Sunday.

It has been reported by the leading and well known scientist and Astrologer, Prof Dr Shahid Qureshi told media that moon of Ramadan will not be sighted on 26 May, Friday in any part of the country and the sighting of the moon is possible in 27 May so the first Ramadan ul Mubarak will be on 28 May on Sunday. It is also expected that moon will also be not sighted in other countries like Bangladesh, Iran and Iran and Ramadan will be started on 28 May in all these countries.

The sighting of the moon is possible on 26 May in Saudi Arabia and other gulf states and the countries of Middle East and the first Ramadan will be on 27 May in these countries. He said that Shaban will be of 30 days instead of 29 days as there is no chance of sighting of the moon of Ramadan on 26 May. In the countries of Africa, middle parts of America and in the southern parts, the moon will be sighted on 26 May on Friday and the first Ramadan will be on Saturday.

He also talked about the birth of the moon of Ramadan, which will be started at night between 25 and 26 May and it will be 18 hours and 30 minutes at the time of sunset on 26 May and it will be at the height of 9 degree, which is not possible to look in any part of the country.
