Food eaten in Ramadan for sehr and iftar is traditionally light from nutritious meals, fresh fruits, vegetables and meats. For Ramadan the ideal food should be light and nutritious. With out sehri you will feel weakness in your body and will not be able to live in fast for the whole day. Our Holy Prophet (SAW) also said that “Eat Sehri as there are blessings in Sehri” (Bukhari and Muslim). So its quiet clear that sehr has much importance then iftar because sehri will give you energy for the whole day.
