Pakora Recipe for Ramadan 2012…!

Pakora dish founded in Mughal period. A Royal cook make a dish with gram flour with spices. Mughal’s found its very delicious then its became very famous with the Name Pakora. In Ramadan many peoples make it in iftar time. Some people says that Iftari is incomplete without Pakoras. So here is a short recipe for this very famous dish in whole world specially in Pakistan.

Ingredients:

* Gram flour 1 ½ quarters
* Green chilles 2 to 3
* Red chilli 1 tbsp (chopped)
* Mint leaves ½ bunch
* Coriander leaves 1 tbsp (chopped)
* Onions 2
* Coriander ½ bunch
* Cumin 1 tbsp
* Baking soda ½ tsp

 

Directions to make pakoras:

  • Combine gram flour, mint, onions, baking soda, coriander and all spices in a bowl.
  • Add some water to make a thick mixture.
  • When mixture is ready, fry it in hot oil in the form of pakoras.
  • Delicious pakoras now ready.
  • Serve these pakoras with chilli sauce or tomato ketchup.
