Know suey have several types of Iftar recipes and one of the best among these recipes is given here below. This recipe has a very great flavor. Due to the presence of lemon, chili and balanced spices, the know suey is quite juicy and crunchy.


1kg yogurt
4 tbs besan
8 green chillies or to taste
15 curry leaves
Salt to taste
½ tsp turmeric
½ garlic


First, blend besan and yogurt and then use a chopper to make a paste of salt, turmeric, green chillies and garlic. Use hot oil to fry curry. Now, add the paste after putting it on medium heat. After some time, add the mixture of besan and yogurt. Add water if required and cook it until you get the appropriate texture.


4 chicken boneless breasts, cubbed.
2 large onions – chopped
2 tbsp ginger – chopped
1 tbsp garlic – chopped
Salt to taste
Red chilli to taste
1 tsp garam masala

One bunch of fresh coriander leaves – finely chopped

Apart from onion, put all the ingredients while marinate chicken and put it aside for half an hour. Fry onions on low heat until they become golden brown and then add marinated chicken. Cook until meat is fully cooked.


Boil. Drain. Soak in cold water.

Fried samosa wraps
Fried noodles
Fried potato chips (thinly sliced)
Sautéed carrots, green peppers
Fried garlic
Chopped fresh coriander and mint leaves
Lemon slices
