Ingredients:

  • dry sherry 1/3 cup
  • minced gingerroot 1 tablespoon
  • low sodium soy sauce 1 tablespoon
  • honey 1 teaspoon
  • 1 minced centiliter garlic
  • 1 lb tuna steaks cut into 4

Method:

  1. First combine sherry, gingerroot, soy sauce, honey & garlic in 1 cup or glass measures.
  2. Put uncovered in Microwave oven at high temperature for about 1 Min. Or until mixture boils.
  3. After that cool it slightly.
  4. Now place tuna in an 11 X 7 X 1 ½ in a baking dish.
  5. Over tuna pour marinade.
  6. Cover it & Chill for about 2 Hours.
  7. After that remove tuna from marinade and reserve marinade to preheat a 10 Inch.
  8. Arrange browning skillet At High temperature for 8 Minutes.
  9. Put tuna on hot browning skillet with thickest portions to the outside.
  10. Microwave it with uncovered tuna At High temperature For 2 Minutes more.
  11. Now turn steaks over & baste with marinade and put again in microwave at high temperature for 1 ½ To 2 Minutes more.
  12. Let Stand Covered 2 Min.
  13. At last serve immediately with warm marinade.
