5 cloves (Lavang), ginger (Adrak) powder 1 table spoon

Cayenne 1 table spoon, tartaric acid ¼ table spoon

Black Pepper (kalimirch) corns 1 table spoon, salt (Namak) 2 table spoon

For making a chat masala take a pan and put cumin seeds, cloves, black pepper corns, ajwain, dried mint leaves and asafetida powder in it. After that heat gently, while giving heat shake the pan from time to time. After some time you will feel fragrant smell of spices.
