But it may be that you do not have coal at your home or in your vicinity then you can cook your behari seekh kabab on the stove or it can be baked into the oven at 350 to 400 degree Celsius and let them there for about 25 to 30 minutes to make them ready.

Ingredients:

  • Boneless Beef 1kg (in thin steaks shape)
  • Mustard oil 1 cup
  • Raw papaya 2 tbsp
  • Yogurt I cup
  • Garam Masala 1tsp
  • Red Paprika Powder 2 tbsp
  • Onion paste 2 tbsp
  • Black pepper 1tsp
  • Ginger paste 1 tbsp
  • Poppy seed (khus khas) 1tsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Garlic Paste 1 tbsp
  • Cooking oil

Method to make Behari Seekh Kabab:

  • Take the beef pieces and marinate them with salt and mustard oil for about 2 hours.
  • Mix garlic ginger paste, raw papaya, yogurt, onion paste, poppy seeds and all spices and then dip the beef pieces in this mixture and marinate them for 2 to 3 hours.
  • After 2 or 3 hours, these beef pieces sew them on skewers as one piece on one skewer.
  • Then grill all these skewers on mild heat of coal for about 10 to 15 minutes on each side of the skewer and then change the side of the skewer in order to grill the skewer from all sides and prepare behari seekh kabab.
  • After some time brush all the beef pieces with oil

After heating the behari seekh kababs to light brown colour then take these kababs out of the oven and squeeze lemon juice on them and serve them with salad and roghani naan.
