During the winter season, it is the common problems of most of the men and women that their heels are cracked and it can spoil the image of the perfect and pretty woman. They use different types of medicines, ointments and other tips to remove these cracks from their heels. If they take a nasty shape and control them with the following simple home remedies.

1.      Vegetable Oil

They need to use different types of things like olive, coconut, sesame and other hydrogenated vegetable oil and they are good to cure the cracked heels. When you go to sleep at night, you need to soak your feet in water and use pumice stone in order to scrub them. After that wash them and pat them dry. Now you can apply vegetable oil on heels and soles. Then you should wear pair of socks and leave the feet to soak the oil overnight.


2.      Lemon

When you want to make the rough skin soft, you need to use lemon as it has the acidic property and it can give you better result. You should take the warm water and mix it with the lemon juice and soak the feet in it for 10 to15 minutes. You need to use pumice stone and scrub the heels. You should follow it through wash and dry them with towel.


3.      Fruit Mask

There are different fruits like banana, pineapple, papaya and avocado, which are found effective in healing the cracked heels. When you make the fruit mask, you should take a banana, half avocado and coconut flesh and mash the banana and avocado first and add the coconut and mix them well. You need to apply fruit mask on heels and leave it for 15 minutes. You should repeat it daily until you get the desired results. If you do not have banana then you can pick papaya.


4.      Rice Flour

If the heels are cracked and dried that they can be avoided by the exfoliation of the skin. The women should use rice flour as the homemade exfoliating scrub. You need to take handful of ground rice and add few teaspoons of honey and apple cider vinegar and mix them well and prepare thick paste. They can add a tablespoon of olive oil or sweet almonds if the cracks are severe. They soak the feet in mild warm water for 10 minutes before applying this paste on the heels. They can scrub the heels with rice flour paste gently and they should do it regularly until they get the desired results.


5.      Neem

The Ayurvedic remedy has been used in India for the treatment of the cracked heels. They use neem leaves for its treatment. It has the antifungal and antibacterial properties, which are present in the leaves and they can be blended with the turmeric to give the treatment to the cracked heels. If there is bleeding in the cracked heels, then you should not use this remedy. You prepare this remedy by taking some leaves of neem, 3 tablespoon of turmeric powder and some water. You need to make paste by crushing the leave with little water and add turmeric powder and apply this paste on the affected parts and leave it for half an hour. Then rinse the water and pat dry with soft cloth.


6.      Rose Water and Glycerin

When glycerin is mixed with rose water, it gives wonder to give the cure to the cracked heels. Glycerin is known as the effective agent to make the skin soft. Rose water has vitamins A, B3, C, D and E and the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory and has the antiseptic properties in large number. You need to mix little quantity of glycerin and rose water and blend them. you rub this paste on the heels on regular basis before going to sleep at night and you can notice the difference.
