Technology is improving with every passing day. Now, people are spending more than 8 hours in front of computers to complete their daily tasks. But your eyes are badly affected by the rays and brightness that emits from these computers.

Your eyesight will become weak by continuously viewing the computer screens due to stretch of your eye muscles. After working on computers, people also spend time in front of TV screens. This further deteriorates the situation.

All these things weak the eyesight and it becomes difficult to see clearly. The most dangerous situation is of the kids as they spend lot of time on books, computer screens, laptops and TVs. It results in wearing sunglasses even in childhood.

But we can improve our eyesight even in homes also. Healthy lifestyle is very important for this purpose. The first thing to adopt is the eating of complete diet as it provides all the necessary vitamins and minerals required for good eyesight. Apart from that, we have to drink plenty of water and do daily exercise.

Apart from normal exercise, you should also do exercise for your eyes. Following are few of the exercises that can improve your eyesight easily.

1. Place a pencil in front of your eyes by holding it in your hand at a distance. Now, focus on this pencil and slowly bring this hand closer to your nose and then take it back to its original position. Do it for ten times in a day.

2. After every 20 seconds, blink your eyes. You can do this as an exercise by closing your eyes and rest them for 30 seconds and then open your eyes. You can do this exercise twice in a day.

These exercises relax your eye muscles. Following are few of the foods that will help you achieve good eyesight by providing important nutrients.

Carrots: Carrots are full of Vitamin A and beta-carotene that are necessary for retina and other parts of eye.

Amla: It gives strength to the eye muscles and also contains Vitamin C. Eye health can be improved by drinking two table spoons of amla juice daily.

Almonds: They also provide several minerals and vitamins. Add almonds in your morning breakfast to achieve eye health.

Beef: Zinc is very important for eye health and meat is the storehouse of zinc.

Eggs: Egg yolks contain lot of zinc which reduces the danger of macular degeneration. For this purpose, eating 1 egg daily is necessary.
